Coolant
Flush

Coolant does more than prevent freezing — it prevents overheating, inhibits corrosion, lubricates the water pump, and protects gaskets and seals. Over time, coolant breaks down, loses its protective properties, and becomes acidic. Old coolant is one of the leading causes of premature water pump and head gasket failure.

We flush the entire cooling system — not just drain and refill. We push out the old coolant from the engine block, heater core, and radiator, then refill with the correct type and concentration for your specific vehicle.

Not all coolant is the same. Using the wrong type can cause gelation, corrosion, and cooling system damage. We use the correct spec for your vehicle.

What's Included

  • Complete cooling system flush — radiator, engine block, heater core
  • Old coolant properly disposed
  • Refill with manufacturer-specified coolant type
  • Correct coolant concentration verified with refractometer
  • Pressure test for leaks
  • Thermostat operation verification
  • Hose and clamp inspection
  • Radiator cap pressure test

Our Process

01

System Inspection

We check the current coolant condition, inspect hoses and clamps, and look for leaks or corrosion before flushing.

02

Full System Flush

Old coolant is completely flushed from the radiator, engine block, and heater core. This removes contaminants that a simple drain-and-fill leaves behind.

03

Refill & Bleed

We refill with the correct coolant type and properly bleed the system of air pockets. Air pockets cause hot spots and erratic temperature readings.

04

Pressure Test & Verify

The system is pressure tested for leaks and the thermostat is verified to open at the correct temperature.

Warning Signs
to Watch For

These cooling system symptoms should be addressed before they cause engine damage:

  • Temperature gauge reading higher than normal
  • Coolant level keeps dropping without visible leak
  • Coolant is discolored, rusty, or has particles floating in it
  • Sweet smell from under the hood
  • Heater not blowing hot air
  • It's been more than 30,000 miles or 5 years since the last flush
